First of all, I apologize for my very long disappearance. The month and a half have been hectic with school work and exams. But I am done now, on my summer vacation so I will have more time for new posts.
Today's post is one that I wanted to post after the Dubai Trip post, but I didn't get around to doing that. It is about Japanese bakery I went to and fell in love in. Yamanote Bakery is situated in Dubai, its a blend of modern European and Japanese style baking. The reason I wanted to go in the first place was because of the Totoro and Hello Kitty pastries that kept popping on my Instagram feed. Now without further or do, I shall show you the bakery:
I love the overall relaxing but still cheerful atmosphere the shop is in. The minty blue color is really lovely.
I took the Totoro pastry and the kiri cheese one. The dough is very soft, I love bread and any sort of carb. This was really good, just typing about it is making me hungry.
I loved the Marie and Donald Duck milk tea bottles. To be honest I took it just for the looks (who can pass up these awesome bottles?) but surprisingly it tasted really good. I want one right now. T-T This may sound as exaggerating or maybe its the Disney bottles, but this really looks like a bakery you'd find in Disney World. It is like a hint of Disney in Dubai.
If you're ever in Dubai, you should visit Yamanote or you're really missing it. Also, Ramadan Mubarak to all those who celebrate it. Sorry my first post is about food and its the first day. I hope you are all having a wonderful month. Also if you have any suggestions please leave them in the comments below (there is an anonymous button if you're shy).
Until next time,
Alya
